As a Job Corps graduate, Javeus saw the value of the program and decided to return as an instructor, using his skills from the program and the college he attended after completion to guide students. “In my 17 years as a Career Technical instructor at the Mississippi Job Corps Center, the most rewarding part of my career has been assisting students with completing the program and finding employment that allows them to be self-sufficient.”

After graduating from the center in 1990, he returned in 1992 to use his skills to give back. “Job Corps gave me the foundation and technical expertise to build a career. She enjoys having the opportunity to inspire students to obtain an education and to nurture their desire to be successful.

Prior to joining the Job Corps team, William served 20 years in the United States Army and 10 years as a police officer. His expertise helps him to mentor and encourage students, which is his favorite part of the job.
