Wayne King

recently began teaching Basic Welding at Earle C. Clements Job Corps. He is retired from the Navy, and has previous experience in shipyard repair and welding education, and is now an AWS-certified welding instructor. Wayne enjoys teaching as a way to give back to young people.

Wayne Eichorn

is an Advanced Heavy Truck Driving instructor at Earle C. Clements Job Corps. Prior to this, he worked as a county emergency medical technician and semi-truck driver, and served as county commissioner for 22 years. While holding this elected office, Ronald held various roles such as part-time trucking jobs, Hardin County ambulance director, deputy coroner, deputy sheriff and county solid waste manager, and was a heavy truck instructor at Southeastern Illinois College and Rend Lake College.

Tony Bell - Welding - Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center

Tony Bell

has taught at Earle C. Clements for nearly 30 years and currently works as the Basic Welding instructor. His background includes fabrication, repair, and maintenance. Tony enjoys working with youth to help keep him young and to help train the next generation. 

Shawn Hafele - Culinary Arts - Earle C. Clements Job Corps

Shawn Hafele

is an Advanced Culinary Arts instructor at Earle C. Clements Job Corps and is responsible for ServSafe Manager and ManageFirst instruction and proctoring. He received his associate degree in culinary arts and his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in culinary arts. His experiences have taken him from restaurants to country clubs and even time in the active army as a cook. Shawn’s main focus toward teaching is letting the students use their creativity while ensuring the food is prepared correctly.

Seth Rose - Advanced Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Technician, Pre-Apprentice - Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center

Seth Rose

is the instructor for HBI’s Advanced Photovoltaic Technician program at Earle C. Clements Job Corps. Seth joined the HBI and Earle C. Clements Job Corps teams in October 2020 and teaches advanced students about the solar energy industry. Previously, he had worked in the solar industry since 2011, primarily in the residential sector. Seth has worked as an installer, crew foreman and project manager and has an educational background in automotive technology.

Ryan Weatherbee - Computer Technician A+ - Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center

Ryan Weatherbee

is an instructor for the Computer Services Technician course at Earle C. Clements Job Corps. With a background in elementary education and five years of experience in the field as a service technician with Geek Squad and Best Buy, Ryan possesses the skills required to dedicate his time, knowledge and resources to learning and preparing the next line of certified techs. 

Rob Guenthner - Tile Setting - Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center

Rob Guenthner

has been an IMI Tile Setting instructor for nearly 15 years, with over 24 years of experience in masonry and general construction. While working in the field, he was the foreman on several major projects in the surrounding area, including schools and hospitals. Rob now enjoys passing his skills on to the next generations to keep the trade alive. 

Pete Lane - Advanced Heavy Truck Driving - Earle C. Clements Job Corps

Pete Lane

is an Advanced Heavy Truck Driving instructor at Earle C. Clements Job Corps. His background consists of hauling oversized loads, tankers and hauling dry van loads of product for delivery, along with six years in the truck driving field. Pete enjoys being an instructor at Earle C. Clements Job Corps because he gets to see his students grow and learn a skill that will help them grow their financial future. 

Mike Wallace - Inland River Systems - Deckhand - Earle C. Clements Job Corps

Mike Wallace

joined Earle C. Clements Job Corps as a Deckhand instructor in 2019 and has been in the tow boating industry for 28 years. Mike started his career as a green deckhand and worked his way up to senior mate and fleet mate for Evansville Marine Services. He now uses this experience to teach students the proper skills to find a career in the field.

Mike Adams

Before joining Earle C. Clements Job Corps as Electrical instructor, Mike Adams worked for Peabody Coal Company for 28 years. Mike was a student here at Earle C. Clements Job Corps and is now able to impart his experience to students every day.
