He was trained as an automotive mechanic by the Department of Education in Puerto Rico, and he is licensed by the Department of State of Puerto Rico as a gasoline automotive mechanic and certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation.

is a full-time basic Culinary Arts instructor with Ramey Job Corps Center. Jose has a certificate degree in the program of regional and international cuisine and international pastry and baking from the National University College of Puerto Rico. He also earned certification for local and international cuisine from the Institute of Banking and Commerce. He also was recognized by the Caribbean BBQ Association as a Certified PIT Master.

Stephanie also is certified by the Puerto Rico Department of Education as an instructor of Culinary Arts and holds ServSafe certification.
