He worked in the medical field for many years as a licensed practical nurse in nursing homes and other medical facilities before starting his teaching career. He also served as an emergency medical technician with local emergency response teams and fire and rescue volunteers. These experiences gave Kevin adequate perspective to help students understand the variety of circumstances they might encounter in health care. Kevin enjoys seeing students overcome their fears and learning about careers in the medical field.
